About this app

The pioneering system in Portugal offers drivers the fastest and easiest solution to pay for parking using their cell phone or tablet, without the need to use coins or go to the parking meter.
With the 'Start and Stop' feature, the driver can start and stop the parking period at any time, and only pays for the time the vehicle has actually been parked.
The application also offers a pay-per-time mode, in which the driver specifically indicates how long he/she wants to park, and will be alerted each time the parking period is nearing its end, so that he/she can then extend the parking period.

Ratings and reviews

Terrible app. Took so many attempts deposit money. First the app wanted me to do something at an ATM but then realised you could use a credit card on website. Still took about 10 attempts to get the money in there. I put in enough to cover parking throughout our holiday but then discovered that you only have to drive a few miles and you balance isn't usable any more as it's a different region or something. Looks like my leftover 6 EUROS is just stuck in there as can't see any way to get it out!

This company has a very cool feature where you can start and stop your parking at any time, and you see the cost counter at all times. This saves you from estimating incorrectly and over or underpaying for parking. The reason I bump the rating down to three stars is because there is no way to add money to the iParque Driver wallet in the app, and no direct link to the website to do so. You have to independently navigate to the website and load value there.

Horrible app. It took my money and provides no usable transaction history. I added €10 and only used about €1 (scheduled parking only, no meter left running). The next time I opened the app, my balance was €0. There is no visible history or breakdown to verify what happened or check for mistakes. No transparency, no accountability. Unacceptable for a payment-based service.
