Conclave is ACM-VIT’s fully in-house video conferencing platform, designed, built and maintained by us to support communication needs. It is a production-ready system that mirrors the functionality of mainstream conferencing tools while offering the freedom, ownership and flexibility that come with building infrastructure from scratch.

At its core, Conclave enables seamless real-time audio and video communication. The platform is designed to support everything from quick one-on-one discussions to large group meetings, without requiring users to install external applications. By owning the entire stack, ACM-VIT gains complete control over user experience, feature evolution and platform reliability.

Conclave offers multiple frictionless ways to join a meeting:

i. Sign in with Google

ii. Sign in with Apple

iii. Join as a guest, without authentication

This ensures accessibility for both ACM members and external participants such as speakers, judges, or collaborators, while still supporting secure, authenticated sessions when required.

Users can:

i. Start a new meeting instantly

ii. Join an existing meeting using a meeting code or link

iii. Lock a meeting, preventing new participants from entering once the session begins

iv. Hosts retain control over the flow of the meeting, enabling moderated discussions during interviews, internal reviews, or sensitive conversations.
