LetterHopHop is a step-by-step literacy learning game designed to help young learners build strong foundations for reading and writing.
Learning to read is more than memorizing the alphabet. Children first need to recognize letters visually, notice how letters differ, connect letters with sounds, blend those sounds into words, and eventually learn to build and spell words themselves.
LetterHopHop turns that journey into simple, focused games.

FROM LETTERS TO LITERACY
Across 13 Levels, LetterHopHop follows a carefully structured learning path that develops from early letter recognition to independent word building.
Children progress through:
• Visual Letter Recognition — recognizing and distinguishing uppercase and lowercase letters
• Letter Names — connecting visual letter forms with their names
• Phonemic Awareness — listening to, identifying, and working with the sounds in spoken words
• Letter–Sound Connections — connecting sounds with the letters that represent them
• Decoding — blending sounds and letter patterns to read words
• More Complex Word Patterns — gradually working with increasingly challenging sound and letter combinations
• Encoding — moving from hearing sounds to selecting and organizing letters for spelling
• Word Building — bringing the skills together to construct words independently
The goal is not simply to “know the alphabet.” Each stage builds on the one before it, helping children develop the skills that come together in literacy.

SIMPLE BY DESIGN
LetterHopHop keeps instructions simple and activities focused. Children learn through seeing, listening, remembering, choosing, matching, sorting, and playing.
Instead of overwhelming young learners with too many tasks at once, each game concentrates on a specific skill. Children can repeat activities and build familiarity at their own pace before moving forward.
