About this app

The UVC Dosimeter app provides accurate measurement of UVC ultraviolet light (254nm) when connected to a Bluetooth-enabled UVCenseTM dosimeter. Both UVC dose (in mJ/cm2) and UVC power (in uW/cm2) are displayed.

When a 4-digit PIN number is entered via the app, a variety of modes and features are configurable.

Dose Modes:
• Auto-reset mode accumulates UVC dose indefinitely. However, if no UVC is detected for more than one hour, the next detected UVC will reset the dose and begin a new dose accumulation.
• 24-hour dose mode always displays the total UVC dose accumulated during the last 24 hours (relative to the present time).

Alarms:
• An acoustic alarm located inside the dosimeter may be configured to sound, and/or an app notification may be configured.
• Alarms and notifications may be based on either a configurable dose or power level being reached.

Radio Modes:
• The dosimeter’s Bluetooth radio normally operates continuously. However, two radio modes are provided to keep the radio disabled when it is not needed in order to extend battery life.
• In one mode the radio activates only after UVC light is detected. In the other mode the radio activates at a specific time.
