ActiveGuard uses Android's VpnService API to power its built-in app firewall and network intrusion detection system. This is the standard, root-free mechanism Android provides for apps that need to inspect or control per-app network traffic.

App Firewall — block any installed app from accessing the internet with a single tap.
Network Intrusion Detection (IDS) — monitor live network flows from your device to detect suspicious activity.

Privacy Promise:
ActiveGuard does not route your traffic through any external server. All traffic interception happens entirely on your device. Packets from blocked apps are silently discarded on-device and never forwarded, logged to a remote server, or shared with any third party. ActiveGuard does not collect, store, or sell any personal data through the VPN interface.
