Acurast Processor Lite turns your Android device into a node in Acurast's decentralized Cloud, providing compute resources to developers so you can earn rewards.

To do this safely, the app manages your device as dedicated compute infrastructure. It sets up an isolated work profile on the device, applies management policies to keep that environment separate and secure, and installs and maintains a sandboxed executor component that runs developer workloads inside it.

Ratings and reviews

Looks promising and legit so far. Only downside is the screen has to be on 24/7 to share your compute. Which is kind of a waste on a lot of unused power, or either way, there's much power going towards the screen and not compute.

I don't highly recommend updating to the latest version. They added the worst feature ever — if your device goes to sleep or the app runs in the background, your rewards get slashed!!

Great app with an innovative idea. It runs smoothly on my device and is easy to use. The reward system is good, and I hope the team continues to improve the app and add more features. Keep up the good work!

What’s new

- New Acurast Tunnel runtime feature
- Enforced foreground only policy: Lite and Core processors will keep providing compute as long as the Acurast app is in the foreground. If the app is backgrounded or the screen is turned off, the app stops heartbeating and processing assignments.
