Imagine Instagram meets Tinder meets WhatsApp, but for meeting new people IRL.
Circle is a small social app built around one idea: your feed
should be the people in your neighborhood, not strangers from
the other side of the planet. Real people. Real places. Things
you can actually show up to.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- A feed of posts from people in your area — no algorithm, no
ranking, no influencers
- Find local groups (we call them Circles) with a chat and a
shared board — book clubs, run clubs, whatever you want to start
- Connect with people you meet, message them privately, share
photos, videos, voice notes
- Set your own radius — your feed is as small or as wide as you
want it
- Verified profiles — every account is selfie-verified, so you
know who's real
- QR codes for connecting in person, no usernames to remember
WHAT'S MISSING ON PURPOSE
- No algorithm. No feed manipulation. No "for you" page deciding
what you see
- No ads. Ever
- No influencers. No virality engine. No follower count that
matters
- No investors. No board. Built by one person, funded by no one
PRIVACY
You're always in control. Go invisible whenever you want. Choose
who can see you, who can message you, and how far your posts go.
Nothing leaves the app. Nothing gets sold.
WHY THIS EXISTS
I built Circle because I was tired of opening social apps looking
for people I could actually meet — and getting ads, influencers,
and strangers from the other side of the planet instead. So I
made the app I wanted to use. No business model pushing me to
take more of your attention. Just a small place that exists to
help you find your people.
