About this game

Draw your blade, read your rival and fight for the final gate. Swordy is a pixel sword fighting game with offline solo battles, local two-player combat and online 1v1 duels with friends. Choose an arena, find your rhythm and turn a well-timed attack into a chance to advance.

Sword fighting with movement and timing
Face your opponent with high, middle or low guard. Match an incoming blade to parry, change guard at close range to disarm your rival, and lunge when an opening appears. Throw your sword to attack at a distance, then recover a fallen blade when you need it. If you lose your weapon, punches, sweeps and dive kicks keep you in the fight.

Movement is part of every duel. Use fencing footwork for careful approaches, sprint to gain ground, roll under high attacks and jump onto platforms. Hold for a full leap or release early for a short hop. Raised blocks, steps and broken-floor gaps create routes to defend and openings to exploit.

Win the duel and gain ground
Each knockout earns an opportunity to cross into the next section. Your rival respawns and can take the advantage back, so a single win does not settle the match. Keep winning exchanges, move through connected arena screens and cross the final gate. Falling into a gap costs your crossing opportunity. A good defense can turn a retreat into a comeback.

Five ways to play
- Solo against AI: play offline with Relaxed, Standard or Ruthless difficulty. The opponent changes guard, pressures openings, recovers weapons and tries to advance. Solo challenge develops with your progress.
- Same-device Versus: two players share one screen with separate movement and action controls. Challenge a friend to a local sword fight.
- Online 1v1: create a room, share its code and invite a friend on another device. The host chooses the arena; both players can agree to another round.
- Nearby offline 1v1: host a game on one phone and find it on the other. Connect nearby for multiplayer sword fighting without internet.
- Training: practice against a predictable opponent. The guided tutorial teaches movement, combat and crossing the arena, and you can replay it from Settings.

Three pixel-art arenas
Fight through the walls and gates of Citadel, the snowy ruins and icy crossings of Frostfall, and the glowing industrial scenery of Foundry. Connected sections change the backdrop as you advance. Platforms, terrain and gaps give every arena places to attack, defend and reposition.

Build your fighter's style
Earn coins by completing Solo matches and spend them on characters, sword finishes, effects and colors. Explore 36 cosmetic choices across four categories. Collect the first visible choices to reveal later items, equip your favorites and bring your look into combat. Your owned items and coin balance are saved locally.

Controls, sound and your progress
Use the touch joystick with jump and attack buttons. Adjust control size, sensitivity and button placement, or choose a fixed joystick. Music and sound have separate toggles, with music volume and track choices. After Solo matches, review your time, longest knockout combo, damage taken and win streak. Saved records let you follow your progress between sessions.

Swordy supports 13 languages, including English, Dari, Pashto and Turkish. Follow your phone's language automatically or choose a language in Settings.

Connection and purchase information
Solo, same-device Versus and Training work offline. Online duels need internet. Nearby play needs two phones with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled, or a shared Wi-Fi network or hotspot. The game contains ads and an optional ad-removal purchase. Rewarded ads for coins or cosmetic unlocks are optional.
