About this app

Medad is a studio for creating Arabic calligraphy artwork in your own style.

Write your words, choose the style that suits them, then move and adjust each element until you achieve your desired composition.

Experiment with a range of heritage-inspired Arabic fonts, from Naskh to Thuluth and Kufic, and adjust the text size, alignment, spacing, and transparency. You can also split words into independent sections for more precise editing and formatting.

Add shapes and embellishments, change colors, and choose a paper background or image from your library to give each piece its own unique character. Save your work to your gallery, pin your favorites, and import your projects as needed.

When your artwork is complete, export it as an image or SVG file, save it to your photo library, or share it directly. You can also keep the project file to revisit and edit your design later.
