Afterkind is a full offline 4X strategy game — build a civilization on a hex map with no wifi and no account.
Ten thousand years after humanity vanished, new civilizations have risen from the creatures we left behind. You lead one, from a single settler to an empire.
Found cities. Improve the land with workers. Raise armies that advance era by era — warriors to swordsmen to musketeers to riflemen — and win by Domination, Science, Culture, or Time. It's the classic turn-based empire-builder loop, shaped for your phone and finishable in a few sessions.
A FULL 4X LOOP, NOT A 4X-FLAVOURED IDLE GAME
Explore the hex map, expand with settlers, exploit the land with workers, and exterminate whoever will not move. Research an era, upgrade your line, and watch the board change shape as you do. It is a turn-based strategy game you can play offline from the first tile to the victory screen — and it finishes. A campaign is a few sessions, not a few months.

Found cities where the rivers and hills actually pay. Improve tiles with workers. Decide whether this empire wins by conquest, by science, by culture, or by outlasting everyone to the final turn. Beavers who dam and build. Crows who scout and steal. Bees who swarm. Fungus that spreads instead of marching. Machines that never tire. Each is a full civilization with its own units, so an animal civilization game and an alien civilization game sit on the same board.
