About this app

Adept Observe is the survey app used on Adept Space workplace utilisation studies.

It is a working tool, not a general-purpose app: you need a join code from whoever is running the survey before it will do anything. If you have been booked onto a study, that code will have been sent to you.

WHAT IT DOES

Walk a floor and record what you see. The building's real floor plans are loaded onto the device, every desk, meeting room and breakout space in its right place, and you tap each one to record whether it is in use, occupied but empty, or not in use at all.

Readings are captured against a set time slot, so the same spaces can be compared hour by hour and day by day across a whole study.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL

Once a study is on the device you can survey the whole building with no connection at all. Basements, plant rooms and lift lobbies are normal places to be working, and none of them have wifi. Everything is stored on the device and sent up when you are back in range.

BUILT FOR THE WALK ITSELF

- Floor plans you can pinch, zoom and pan, with your own allocated area highlighted
- Missed locations flagged at the end of a walk, shown on the plan so you can fill the gaps in whatever order suits you
- One tap to record the most common answer, or a full question set where a space needs more detail
- Photograph and report a problem with the plan without leaving the survey
- Available in twelve languages, switched by the surveyor rather than the device

FOR SURVEYORS

Your initials identify your readings. Your name, the studies you have worked on and your invoices live in the Adept Observe portal, which you sign into separately.

No adverts. No tracking. Nothing is sold to anyone.
