The AutoVIN Self Inspection app allows you to perform an inspection on your leased vehicle prior to turn in. You will be able to scan the VIN barcode for your vehicle and perform an inspection, taking pictures and capturing damages along the way. At the end of the process, you'll receive an email with the estimated charges for damages. This will facilitate the end of lease process.

App crashes and "is not supported." AutoVIN Customer Care says that the best way to proceed is to simply turn the lease into the dealership sans inspection because their agents are too busy and that they have app issues.

During initial set up I attempted to scan the VIN and manually enter it and both times received a message of "Vehicle Not Eligible."

Couldn't get past entering the VIN, said my vehicle wasn't eligible when my bank told me to use the app to do the inspection.
