Spancam turns the phone in your pocket into a sharp, reliable webcam for your computer - over a USB cable or your Wi-Fi network - with no clutter and no monthly fee.

Your phone almost certainly has a far better camera than your laptop's built-in webcam. Spancam puts that camera to work for video calls, streaming, and recording.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install the free Spancam desktop app on your computer.
2. Open Spancam on your phone and connect over USB or Wi-Fi.
3. Pick "Spancam" as the camera in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, OBS, or your browser. That's it.

WIRED OR WIRELESS
• USB: plug in and go. No developer mode, no ADB, no special setup — Spancam uses the standard Android USB accessory connection, so it just works.
• Wi-Fi: leave the cable behind. Your phone is discovered automatically on your network.
• Spancam prefers the wired connection when both are available and switches smoothly if one drops.

BUILT FOR REAL CALLS
• Smooth, low-latency hardware-encoded video.
• Front or rear camera, with a clean on-phone viewfinder.
• Pro controls: zoom, exposure, focus, white balance and more.
• A streaming indicator stays visible while the camera is in use.

Need to share quickly? Spancam can also serve your camera over your local Wi-Fi so you can open it in a browser on another device — protected by a private access link.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Spancam has no accounts, no ads, and no trackers. Your video goes only to your own devices, over your own cable or local network — never to us, never to anyone else. Nothing is uploaded.
