A program of concise and detailed morning and evening remembrances
Your journey through these remembrances has three phases:
The first phase: Morning and evening remembrances, before sunrise and before sunset. These are the detailed remembrances, and you recite them when you have ample time, or during a blessed time like Ramadan.
O you who remember God: Seize your time, for it is a golden opportunity to connect with your Lord, the Almighty, with a humble heart and a present mind. Dedicate approximately (20) minutes to reciting these blessed remembrances, and let their effect illuminate your heart and bring tranquility to your soul. The second category: Morning and evening remembrances (adhkar), before sunrise and before sunset. These are the concise remembrances:
If your time is limited, don't neglect them; they will only take about seven minutes.
The third category: Additional remembrances, which include additions to the detailed and concise remembrances:
When you are in seclusion (i'tikaf), performing Umrah, for example, or when you wish to commune with God Almighty in a more expansive and profound way, you may find in these additional remembrances something to fill your heart and bring you peace of mind.
In all of this, you will taste the true essence of life, for your remembrances are your life, as they express your love for your Lord Almighty, and because you will rejoice in their immense reward.
