Echo Spend is a personal finance app for people who want automated expense tracking without handing their financial life to someone else's server.

Every card swipe already sends you a bank SMS. Echo Spend reads those alerts on your device, drafts the transaction, and waits for your approval. One swipe to confirm. That is the entire workflow.

No account to create. No cloud database. No ads. No trackers.

On-device AI — an optional Llama 3.2 1B model (~940 MB, via llama.rn) runs entirely in your device memory to classify SMS alerts. Rather not download it? Built-in pattern matching parses offline too.
Local SQLite storage — accounts, cards, transactions, budgets and preferences live in a private database inside the app sandbox.
Zero telemetry — no Firebase, no Sentry, no analytics SDK, no ad network. We cannot see how you spend, scroll or budget.
Your Drive, not our servers — optional backup signs in with Google and writes to your Drive's hidden appDataFolder. Echo Spend cannot read your other Drive files, and no developer server is ever involved.
Biometric lock — hardware-backed fingerprint or face unlock.
Full portability — export the ledger to CSV any time; wipe every table and backup with one tap.
