Dear Brother,
The Companions of Badr
1. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself announced that those who participated in the Battle of Badr are destined for Paradise.
2. It is stated in the Quran that angels sent by Allah also participated in the battle, which is another reason for their merit.
3. According to the statements of some enlightened individuals, many of the saints attained the rank of sainthood by continuously reciting the blessed names of the people of Badr.
4. It is narrated that many people suffering from various illnesses sought healing by mentioning the blessed names of the people of Badr and were cured of their illnesses through divine grace.
5. A learned person said: "When I place my hand on the head of a sick person and, with pure intention, recite the names of the Companions of Badr, healing is absolutely achieved. Even if the patient's time of death has come, at least their suffering is alleviated."
6. Some have also said: "Reciting the names of the Companions of Badr before prayer is a means of the prayer being accepted quickly."
Ja'far b. Abdullah says:
"My father advised me to love all the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and added:
'O my dear son, when the names of the Companions of Badr are mentioned, prayers are accepted. Divine mercy, blessings, forgiveness, and divine pleasure surround the servant who mentions these blessed names. The wish of one who makes a request by reciting these names will surely be fulfilled...'"
7. "To possess, recite, and memorize the names of the Companions of Badr brings victory over the enemy, protection from the evil of enemies, protection from fire, theft, and drowning, protection from plague, pestilence, madness, and other diseases, the realization of loss, the attainment of wealth, the fulfillment of debts, forgiveness of sins, removal of distress, and enlightenment of hearts." In short, it is a proven elixir for achieving all worldly desires and otherworldly goals, attracting worldly and spiritual benefits, warding off harm from humans and jinn, and attaining worldly ranks. It has been gifted to the mujahideen of Islam by the Islamic Religious Authority.
However, it is necessary to say "May Allah be pleased with him" after each of these blessed names are mentioned. Without a doubt, when the name of our Prophet (peace be upon him) is mentioned, one should say "Peace and blessings be upon him." For observing this etiquette is a means of achieving the goal more quickly.
May Allah grant us the benefit of their intercession. Amen.
