Cuban is a way of being, of feeling, of speaking and of walking. A way to move your hands and eyes. A way of interpreting music and dancing, sounds and silence. Because that is in our DNA. These mysterious cells and until recently practically unknown, that tell us where we come from, what our heritage is and, of course, could also predict where we are going.
And if we go somewhere, the Cuban DNA will proclaim, announce and warn how we are going. Cubans are those born in Cuba and also those who have done it anywhere in the world and feel that pride of belonging to a culture, a history, a way of making music and seeing the world, or enjoying and suffering life.
That is why DNA Cuba was born, an independent, social and participatory audiovisual magazine. A news portal from Cuba that more than a nationality test is a place of conviviality and meeting; A way to exchange questions and visions. A place to find the points that bind us and not the dead cells that separate us. From all corners of Cuba, our stories are enveloping, scathing, innovative and often strange.
These pages are the room to gather all the visions and all the stories. Feed each contribution and understand more that small island that has given, in time, personalities such as José Martí, José Raúl Capablanca, Miguel Matamoros, Fernando Ortíz or Kid Chocolate.
Welcome to ADN Cuba, where the most modern information technologies and all artistic disciplines that enrich and reinforce the knowledge of who we are, what we have been and what we want to be.
