Know, may God have mercy on you, that we must learn four matters:
The first issue: Knowledge: which is the knowledge of God, the knowledge of His Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - and the knowledge of Islam as religion.
The second issue: Acting on it.
The third issue: the supplication to him.
The fourth issue: Patience with the harm in it. And the evidence is His saying, Most High: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful: {By the Asr * Indeed, mankind is in loss * Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds and do righteous deeds.}
Al-Shafi’i, may God have mercy on him, said: (If God had not sent down an argument against his creation except this surah, it would have sufficed them).
Al-Bukhari, may God Almighty have mercy on him, said: Chapter: Knowledge before speech and action. And the evidence is His saying, the Most High: {So know that there is no god but God, and ask forgiveness for your sin} [Muhammad:19], then he began with knowledge (and knowledge).
Know, may God have mercy on you, that it is incumbent upon every male and female Muslim to learn these three issues, and act upon them:
The first:
That God created, and our livelihood, and did not leave us. Al-Muzammil: 15, 16].
the second:
God does not accept that anyone should be associated with Him in His worship, neither an angel nor a prophet sent; And the evidence is His saying: {And the mosques belong to God, so invoke not anyone with God} [Al-Jinn: 18].
The third:
Whoever obeys the Messenger and swears by God is not permissible for him to be loyal to the one who opposes God and His Messenger, even if he is the closest of a relative; The guide is the meaning of the verse: Indeed, the party of God are the successful.” [Al-Mujadilah: 22]
Know that God has guided you to obey Him, that the Hanifiyyah is the religion of Abraham: to worship God alone, being faithful to Him. Thus God commanded all people, and created them for it; As the Almighty said: {And I did not create the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me} [Al-Dhariyat: 56]. The meaning of {worship}: to unite, and the greatest thing that God has commanded is monotheism, which is: singling out God with worship. And the greatest of what polytheism has forbidden, and that is the supplication of someone else along with it, and the evidence is His saying, “Worship God” (Woah: 35).
So if it is said to you: What are the three principles that a person must know?
So say: The servant's knowledge of his Lord, his religion, and his Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
