There is a door on the right. Walk to it.
That is the whole game, and it is the only honest sentence in it. The floor you are standing on will leave. The spikes you learned will move. The exit will wait until you are close and then go somewhere else.
Trapdoor is a troll platformer: 145 short, sharp rooms that are built to kill you once, get a laugh, and then be beaten on the retry. Every trap gives you a beat of warning. Nothing is random. Everything is unfair on purpose.
THE DEVIL REMEMBERS
Some rooms rearrange themselves based on how you died in them. Learn where the spike bed is and it will not be there next time — it will be waiting 200 pixels further on, exactly where you now feel safe. The game is not guessing. It is keeping score.
EIGHT WORLDS
- The Floor — nothing you stand on is a promise
- The Doors — the spikes and the exits start lying too
- All Of It — every trick at once, with worse timing
- Upside Down — gravity is a setting, and it is not your setting
- Mind Games — the room remembers your last attempt
- The Machine — clockwork that does not care about you personally
- Vertigo — up is a rumour, and so is left
- Devil's Castle — it has been taking notes for 144 levels
WHAT IT DOES TO YOU
- Floors that vanish, ceilings that slam, spikes that arrive late
- Walls that are paint, spikes that are harmless, doors that are pictures of doors
- Gravity flips — walk the ceiling, and jump downwards
- The screen turns upside down while your controls stay where they were
- Swinging blades, collapsing bridges, lifts, and a door with somewhere better to be
- A devil that comments on every death, and gets annoyed when you win too easily
AND WHEN YOU FINALLY GET SOMEWHERE
- Full stats: deaths, fastest clear, best no-death streak, and your worst room
- 14 achievements and 9 unlockable character skins
- Ghost replay — your last attempt runs alongside you, with a mark where it ended
- A rage meter that climbs while the devil enjoys itself
No ads. No in-app purchases. No accounts. No internet needed. It does not collect anything about you — your progress is saved on your device and nowhere else.
Instant restarts, forgiving controls, unforgiving rooms. Reach the door.
