About this app

PromoTap is a task management app for field representatives drivers who install and maintain in-store promotional display devices - PromoStrip and PromoStopper - on behalf of their brand clients.

Designed for daily field use, the app gives each representative a clear list of tasks for the day, tells them exactly which stores to visit, and guides them through every step of the installation and content update process.

KEY FEATURES

Daily task list - see all your assigned stores and tasks for the day, organised by route and stop sequence. Tasks are generated automatically by the campaign management platform based on your route assignment.

NFC + Bluetooth device communication - tap your phone to any PromoStrip or PromoStopper device to establish a secure Bluetooth connection. The app handles all device communication automatically: content transfer, analytics download, battery level check, and firmware updates.

Campaign content delivery - push new animation content packages to display devices. The app transfers the content package over Bluetooth and confirms successful delivery.

Battery monitoring - the app reads the battery level of each device on every visit and reports it to the platform. If a device needs a battery replacement, a task is automatically added to your bundle before your next route.

Device analytics sync - on every visit, the app downloads play count and dwell time data recorded by the device's PIR sensor and uploads it to the platform for campaign performance reporting.

Exception reporting - if a task cannot be completed (store closed, access denied, hardware fault), log the reason directly in the app. Exception reports are instantly available to the campaign manager.

Offline mode - the app works without an internet connection while you are in the store. All data syncs automatically in the background when you are back in mobile coverage between stops.
