This app used to work very well. With the update there is no way to control my system because my phone has the developer options enabled because I build Android apps of my own. I will have to bring out the alarm tech and have him install two wireless pendants at a cost of over $200 and go back to nineties level functionality. I pay out the nose for 4G line of access for the communicator module and now this... Either fix it or get into breach of contract. Update 6/23/17: No progress with ADT. No end support, follow up, or any form of tangible software fix for the phone app. Still waiting on a local ADT contractor to service the system and install pendants.
Wasted my money on the new Pulse system based on having remote easy access from my smartphone. The old app worked flawlessly. This new app, including the update today is useless!!! I cannot login. I can no longer use a PIN to login and customer support keeps telling me daily it will be fixed in 24 hrs. They must think we are idiots.
The latest upgrade V8.0 is a vast improvement over the previous apps. This version has way fewer bugs and works no matter where I am. I have not experienced the " offline" scenereo with 8.0. Software development is difficult enough, but adding the many accessories ADT offers compounds the possible bugs. FYI: I have (10) cameras, RING, NEST, garage door opener, (4) light modules and EVERYTHING works! Thanks ADT for solving many of the previous software glitches.
For this to be the largest home security company in the US, the app is just about worthless. It works, maybe one out of three tries. 6/22/2017 - Updated? I think NOT! It's even more worse than previously. Takes FOREVER to use. And this is supposed to be new and improved?
App takes forever to load. The update made it even slower. This app is supposed to make it more convenient but it makes it more annoying than anything else. I have to wait minutes before I can even use it. It also went down and was not working at all for an entire day last week . Terrible. Feel like I am getting ripped off
HoRrIbLe! This is the now the THIRD update in two weeks. I STILL can not review recorded clips on ANY of our phones. Nothing but problems with every new release, your users are NOT beta testers - this should never have been released! I got some dumb-a$$ response from ADT to use the mobile web site instead (ummm yeah no thanks). Now I can't even login on the pulse site at all - not on the app, mobile site, or regular site. We're done with ADT - contract is up and I'm dropping pulse. There are many other options out there now that work! I can get basic monitoring MUCH cheaper and handle my own video/automation MUCH more reliably. You should be ashamed to call yourselves a security company - your service is far too unreliable to handle the safety and security of our home.
