Ratings and reviews

The user interface feels like a bare minimum attempt to enter the 21st century, putting a scrolling pdf of the print edition that was never meant to be seen on a phone, on your phone. One or two articles you might be able to click on to read in an appropriate text format, but for many shorter articles, you're zooming in on a pdf, being directed to finish on A2, then zooming in there. Not sure this deserves to be called an app even.

The 4/2/2021 update is somewhat of and improvement. I get a new edition every day. Unfortunately, most of the time it gets stuck trying to load a new edition, saying "Downloading image". I don't know how long it will take to load, because I gave up after 5 minutes. I have a strong WiFi connection and enough bandwidth to stream video with no problems, so I don't think the problem is on my end. I cannot read the paper several days a week because of this problem.

HORRIBLE. I uninstalled it from my Chrome book and now it will not recognize that and will not let me install it on my new computer. The old version worked so well! Why did this have to happen. So much time wasted. I will probably go back to killing trees for the newspaper. Come on, Portland! You should be able to hire someone that can make a friendlier app!
