2025- 7 years later and still playing. 2018- Wonderful variation on the newspaper game, but it does the longer picture clue first and doesn't use selected characters from the 'bonus' words to form the long answer like the paper. My only complaint with the controls is that you have to shake the phone to shuffle the bonus word letters instead of a simple button like the picture clue uses. Shaking a tablet like the Kindle is a pain.

Sometimes corny, sometimes kitschy. But when you start feeling superior it will kick you right in your posterior. A lot of fun, tickles your brain so it doesn't feel like a waste of time the way some games can. As far as gameplay goes - it says what it does and does what it says. All you can expect from a free download. Even the advertising is not that intrusive. I would recommend to anyone that enjoys words, especially us ,"ole newspaper readers".

I previously had this, and finished all the puzzles - there were only a few hundred - in a couple of hours. It now says it requires 195 MB, which is a lot for a word puzzle that doesn't use a dictionary. Crosswordlike apps generally use very little storage. But, even with almost 4 GB available, it's telling me I don't have sufficient storage. It's promoting me to delete other apps to free up an additional 500 MB.
