Shelfmark turns your daily homework into a tidy shelf of slim book spines that live right on your phone. Each assignment is captured as a Due Slip, where you enter the course name, due date, a short task type like reading or essay, and a one-line note. When you save a slip, it instantly appears as a color-coded spine—vermilion for work due today, amber for tomorrow, and slate blue for everything further out—so you can spot what needs attention at a glance. The Desk screen keeps the most urgent slips front and center, with three triangular page-flag counters pinned to the shelf edge showing how many assignments are due today, due tomorrow, and due this week. Tapping any slip on the Desk opens the edit form, letting you change a date, reword a note, or remove the entry completely. Switch to the Due Soon tab to see your full lineup of open slips ordered by due date, all presented in the same familiar book-spine layout that mirrors a real desk shelf. The Add Slip tab opens a clean capture form where you build new slips or refine existing ones, with simple save and cancel actions that keep you moving without distraction. When you need to find a specific assignment, the Find tab searches across course names, task types, and notes, displaying only the slips that match your text. Everything you add stays stored locally on your device; there are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no internet required, so your study plan is always private and accessible offline. The bottom navigation uses four flat eraser-shaped tabs, with the active one marked by a soft graphite smudge that makes the whole experience feel like a real desktop tool. Even when you have no deadlines, a few blank spines lean against the brass bookends, keeping the shelf familiar and ready for your next task. This visual approach is built for students who juggle competing deadlines and prefer a calm, tactile planner over crowded calendar grids. You can create, read, update, delete, and search your Due Slips at any time, giving you complete control over your workload without notification clutter.
