Pretty much the perfect fingerprint swipe app. Doesn’t take too much battery, and works like a charm. Easily customizable to your liking. ¶ I had it set up to swipe one way to get to the Recents screen the other way to go Back to an app, but as of Android 9 Pie this just activates the home screen. However, the newly added “Last App” action pretty much alleviates this, and is quite nice as a shortcut besides. ¶ Overall, fantastic app! I would pay money for this in a heartbeat. It’s arguably one of the biggest conveniences for my phone, now that displays are getting larger & larger. 5/5

Hi! Definitely working on 8.1 notification stuff, so that should be in the beta version soon!
What kind of gestures are you talking about "as an option"?
Thanks for the feedback! :)
EDIT: It's fixed! Please check out the beta:

A+ The app appears to be fully compatible with Android 9 (Pie) as it is performing flawlessly on Pixel 3 XL. I suspect that the issues cited by many trying to run this with Pie are either conflicts with the OEM-skinned version of the OS, or possibly phones that don't have the native ability to support swipe actions.

Works perfectly on the pixel 3xl, works better if you disable the native swipe down for notifications feature already on Android. Can't believe this isnt a feature already, would be even better if they had a tap option too to launch a 5th gesture controlled app, or perhaps some contexts based on what app you're in such as opening the adress bar when in chrome, but who can really complain when it works so well?
