Thud is great! Fantastic variety of built-in news sources, is FOSS and updates are occasional and don't get in the way. Many thanks to the developer.

Lacks offline caching plus it doesn't fetch the full article just the summary and link. Cannot read articles when offline and is missing a tagging system for saved articles.
