Clean, Calm Design
From the moment you open the app, the design sets a tone. The colour palette is built around warm, earthy tones — soft creams, dusty peaches, and muted browns. There are no aggressive colours, no flashing notifications, and no ads. The interface is stripped back to exactly what you need and nothing more: a puzzle in front of you, ready to be solved.

The grid lines are carefully weighted — thin hairlines separate cells while thicker borders define the 3×3 boxes, giving the board a natural visual hierarchy. Every element uses rounded edges and generous spacing, creating an interface that feels soft and approachable.

Three Difficulty Levels
Easy provides 38 clues — perfect for beginners or experienced solvers who want a light puzzle to unwind with. Medium drops to 30 clues, offering a balanced challenge that requires more careful elimination. Hard gives just 24 clues, demanding advanced techniques and deeper reasoning from seasoned solvers.

Every puzzle is guaranteed to have exactly one solution. The generator builds a complete board, then removes numbers while verifying unique solvability at each step. No guessing required — every digit can be deduced through logic alone.

Intuitive Controls
Tap a cell to select it. The app highlights its row, column, and box, helping you see which numbers are in play. Matching values across the board are highlighted in warm sand. Conflicts — duplicate digits in a row, column, or box — are marked with a soft red background, showing you the problem without preventing you from playing your way.

Pre-filled clues appear in bold dark text. Numbers you place appear lighter, so you always know which values are yours.

Notes Mode
Toggle Notes to pencil in candidate digits within a cell. Candidates display in a tidy 3×3 mini-grid matching each digit's position. Tap a pencilled number to remove it. Place a final value and the notes clear automatically.

Undo
Every move is recorded. Undo steps back through your history one move at a time. Experiment freely without fear of losing progress.

Completion Feedback
When all nine instances of a number are placed, its button on the number pad greys out. Completed rows, columns, and boxes receive a subtle highlight. When you solve the puzzle, a warm confetti celebration drifts across the screen before offering you a new game or a replay.

No Accounts, No Clutter
No sign-ins, no leaderboards, no timers, no scores. The app generates a puzzle, puts it in front of you, and gets out of the way. Sudoku is a personal, contemplative activity. This app treats it that way.
