AetherVortex

About this app

Your music. Your phone. Nothing in between.

AetherVortex Player is a free music player for the music you already own. No ads, no subscription, no account and no tracking. It plays the files on your phone, offline, and keeps them there.

LOSSLESS, THE WAY YOU SAVED IT
Play FLAC, WAV and ALAC alongside MP3, M4A/AAC, OGG and OPUS. Every track shows its real format, bit depth, sample rate and bitrate, so you always know what you are hearing. Level Match uses loudness analysis and ReplayGain tags to keep volume steady from track to track, and headphone EQ profiles let you tune playback for your headphones.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your music files never leave your phone. There are no ads, no analytics and no sign-in. Online lyric search is optional and runs only when you ask for it; it sends just the track's title and artist. Sharing happens only when you choose to share.

MADE FOR EVERYDAY ANDROID
Control playback from the lock screen, the media notification, Bluetooth and wired headsets, or two home screen widgets. Shuffle and repeat work right from the lock screen. Queue, sleep timer and playback speed are always one tap away.

YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR WAY
Browse by tracks, artists, playlists or folders. Hide folders you never want to see, mark favorites and find anything with search filters such as artist:, album:, folder: or format:. Import and export playlists as M3U, M3U8 or JSON. Fix song details inside the app and add synced LRC lyrics that follow the music line by line.

FROM AETHERVORTEX RECORDS
AVR Picks brings releases from the AetherVortex Records label into the app, and you can turn any track into a share card in standard or 2K resolution.
