Can you make it through the dark forest alive?

ECHO is an atmospheric trap platformer where you guide an adorable kitten
or puppy through 400+ handcrafted stages of increasing danger. Every step
forward could be your last - hidden traps spring to life, proximity
hurdles materialise from thin air, and a hunting hawk circles above the
shadowy tree line.

One false move. One misjudged jump. Start over.

🐱 CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER
Play as a kitten or puppy - two characters, one perilous journey through
a dark forest world of silhouettes and shadows. Both characters run,
jump, and double-jump their way through every hazard the forest throws
at them.

🌲 400+ STAGES ACROSS 20+ DARK WORLDS
Progress through 20+ distinct worlds, each containing 20+ stages of
hand-tuned traps, enemies, and terrain. Unlock each new world by
clearing the one before it. Every stage is a new puzzle of timing,
reflexes, and pattern recognition.

⚠️ TRAPS THAT THINK
ECHO's hazard system is unlike any other platformer on mobile:

- Spring Traps - cycle through hidden, warning, active, and retract
states. Learn the rhythm or pay the price.
- Proximity Hurdles - invisible until you get close, then they fade into
view. React fast or run straight into them.
- Void Zones - gaps in the ground with no second chances.
- Scorpions that patrol set ranges and turn at their boundaries.
- Spiders, Snakes, Centipedes, and Bat Swarms lurking in the shadows.
- A HuntingHawk that sweeps the canopy above.


🎮 TIGHT MOBILE CONTROLS
Built from the ground up for landscape mobile play. Left, right, and jump
are all you need - but mastering the double-jump timing is what separates
survival from defeat. Touch controls are responsive with zero input lag,
optimised for both phones and tablets.

🖤 A WORLD DRAWN IN SHADOW
ECHO's entire world - characters, trees, enemies, terrain, sky - is
rendered as pure silhouette art. No sprite sheets. No pixel art. A
living dark forest that breathes with animated willows, rippling water,
and parallax tree layers receding into a grey sky. Enemies are visible
against the lighter foreground. Every frame is a hand-drawn shadow scene.

💀 HOW HARD IS ECHO?
The first world teaches you the rules. By world 6, the traps stop
waiting for you to be ready. By world 14, the forest feels alive - and
hostile. ECHO rewards players who study patterns, stay calm, and learn
from every death. There are no checkpoints within a stage. Only the
clear screen at the end.
