Jinagam is a digital sanctum for the Jain śāstras — the timeless teachings of the Tīrthaṅkaras, preserved across centuries in Sanskrit and Prakrit, and now made accessible to every seeker in their own language.
Open Jinagam to a single, careful reading experience for the Digambara and Shvetambara traditions alike. Every verse is presented in its original script alongside word-by-word breakdown, padaccheda, parallel translations, and section-by-section audio narration. Tap any Sanskrit term to see its root, meaning, and grammatical role in English, Hindi, or Kannada. Sit with a passage in quiet, bookmark it, write a reflection — the way you would with a printed śāstra in your home shrine.
WHAT'S HERE TODAY
• Tattvārtha Sūtra of Ācārya Umāsvāmī — the universal compendium of Jain philosophy, recognised across the Digambara and Shvetambara traditions. 357 sūtras, translated and analysed in English, Hindi, and Kannada, with word-by-word breakdown of every Sanskrit term and parallel commentary from the classical tradition.
• Bhaktāmara Stotra of Ācārya Mānatuṅga — the cherished devotional hymn to Bhagavān Ṛṣabhadeva. 48 verses with full meaning, atom-by-atom breakdown of compounds and sandhi, and traditional chant recordings.
THE FOUR ANUYOGAS
The Jain canon is organised into four anuyogas — four ways of approaching the teaching, suited to different students, subjects, and stages of study. Jinagam is built to cover all four:
• Prathamānuyoga — universal history, the lives of the Tīrthaṅkaras and the sixty-three great men.
• Karaṇānuyoga — cosmology, the mathematics of bondage and liberation: Tiloyapaṇṇattī, Gommaṭasāra, Ṣaṭkhaṇḍāgama.
• Caraṇānuyoga — right conduct, the discipline of monks and householders side by side.
• Dravyānuyoga — metaphysics, anekāntavāda, syādvāda — the inquiry into reality itself: Samayasāra, Pravacanasāra, Sarvārthasiddhi.
