Paper and pen which has proven to be time consuming and subject to errors. Not scalable. To provide technological services within the agricultural value chain, automating data collection is mandatory requirement.

Velociti is the proprietary data collection app for field agents and other field operational team members. With its offline features, agents can work 100% offline without internet connectivity, and later sync when internet connection is restored.

From farmer and other value chain actors profiling, enabling payments and other digital financial services, performing quality control and traceability standards on field, enabling market access for farmers, Velociti is your go-to tool.

Velociti is lightweight and works on most android devices, with its friendly user interface; setup, training and deployment of field operational team is as easy as ABC. The beauty of Velociti it has API capabilities that allows 3rd party connectivity to your core apps, delivering real time information to you, as they happen on the field.

Smallholder farmers are eligible to apply for input financing loans between $100-$2000 mainly to purchase agricultural inputs.

Smallholder farmers apply for loans through the field agents on Velociti by providing basic KYC answers such as purpose of loan, amount requesting, location and personal data such as name, contact number and address.

Repayment of loans are either in cash or in kind with agricultural commodities equivalent to the loan principal plus interest. Loan tenor is between 6-9 months depending on crop type the farmer is cultivating and interest rate is between 3%-3.5% per month.
