WHY DEBT TRACKER

Most expense-splitting apps want your email, your contacts, an internet connection, and now a paid subscription before you can even log five expenses. Debt Tracker is the opposite: install it, open it, start tracking. Your data stays on your device. There's no Pro tier because there's nothing we hold back.

WHAT'S NEW IN 3.4

Shared groups. Send any group as a file — from the group screen or Settings — and whoever opens it joins on their own phone, adds and edits their own expenses, and sends it back. The app merges both sides in any order, with no account and no server; a group you already have adopts the file instead of doubling up. Also since 3.2, the pay-off screen opens with what the group has spent so far: the total, the number of expenses, the average per person, and each member's share against what they covered. Two fixes from testing — uninstalling no longer brings old data back (the system's own Auto Backup is now off, while your daily backups to a folder you pick keep working), and long names no longer break mid-word on the pay-off plan. Updating from any earlier version keeps your data, theme and backups where they were.
