About this game

Ahh Zombies is a roguelike zombie survival shooter set in an endless blacked-out city. Drag to run through streets, courtyards and alleys while zombies, skeletons and werewolves chase you around the buildings. Hold FIRE to shoot where you are facing, keep moving because standing still opens the rot under your feet, and survive ten minutes until the Kaiju wakes up.

HOW TO PLAY
• Drag to move. Tap or hold FIRE to attack where you are facing. Rotate the camera with the corner buttons or a two-finger twist.
• Play on the beat. Every shot plants you for a moment and costs stamina, and stamina returns properly while you move. Attack when it is ready, then run while it comes back.
• One attack is one volley, and the volley grows. Carrot Shot becomes a fan that drills through the line, lightning strikes several enemies, and the whip comes round on every side.
• Never stand still. Hold ground too long and the rot opens under you: it burns and makes the horde faster and meaner. Move and it closes.
• Follow the compass to the beacon. Lighting it pays coins, experience and a chest, and pulls the horde toward the flare.
• Grab gems to level up, choose one of three upgrades, and open supply caches for surprises.
• Traffic follows lights, queues and waits for convoys. Cross on red to stay safe; mistime it and a raider car will put you on the floor.
• The city fights the horde too. Lure zombies into traffic, lead them into a canal, or hold a bridge and make them come one at a time.
• Pause any time. Music, effects, vibration and left-handed controls each have their own setting.

BOSSES THAT FIGHT BACK
Werewolves crouch and leap. Brutes charge across a whole block and slam the ground with a shockwave. Blobbers split off blobs and spit burning sludge. Every move is telegraphed, and every boss carries a health bar. Read it, then get out of the way.

FIVE CITY DISTRICTS
Fight through suburbs of houses and yards, downtown towers and shopfronts, industrial warehouses and containers, graveyard crypts and stone archways, and a quarantine zone of tents and sandbags. Cut through alleys, courtyards and gated compounds as the endless city changes around you.

RANKED NIGHT
Climb from Bronze to Apex in fortnight seasons with a global score board. Ranked Night gives everyone the same city and removes permanent upgrades and character perks, so the ladder measures the run rather than the account.

BUILD AND COLLECT
• Eight weapons with eight levels and powerful evolutions: Carrot Shot, Tail Whip, Stink Cloud, Egg Bomb, Yarn Orbit, Bone Toss, Antler Lightning and Truffle Mines.
• Seven passives, twenty-eight playable animals with their own starting weapons, and permanent power-ups earned with coins.
• Mutators such as Blood Moon, Glass Cannon, Swarm and Nightmare change the rules and multiply your score.
• Horde surges, supply drops, treasure ghouls, bounties, blood moons and raider rushes keep every run fresh.
• Daily missions, a login streak, weapon unlocks, an armoury and a bestiary reward every night survived.
