Ratings and reviews

While the hardware is reliable and always saves the file, the app frequently hangs when trying to play back or transcribe. I once had to clear the app cache and data entirely just to get a recording to download. When the transcription does work, the accuracy is impressive, but the speaker identification feature is very inaccurate, even for a beta feature (clearly labeled as such). Transcription speed is also inconsistent, taking anywhere from thirty to ninety minutes for a one hour file.

App can't run the transcription and summary in the background. even the screen turning off seems to stop the processing. which means leaving your phone unlocked and on this app for a really long time to have it work. I was hoping it'd run the transcription and summary in the background and just have a notification when they're ready. even for free (with purchase of recorder) it's too slow and needing to keep the app open and phone unlocked is a big pain in practice.

I am unable to pair the recorder to the app. I used it a few times and then when I tried to use it again to make a recording all my previous data was gone! The app keeps giving me an error message and refuses to pair the recorder. The device is now rendered useless and I cannot get any technical support from the company. Completely wasted my money and lost all my work!
