My AI Friend is an expensive conversational ai app. The visual aspect is great. Highly detailed 3d avatars are the best I've seen on a smart phone. Voice chat is excellent with these avatars and their well done conversational skills. The six available characters are all unique and fun to chat with. The language model is versatile, with many topics to choose from. On the bad side, chats start over each time, with no memory. Clothing is very expensive, and subscriptions are too. Needs more content

App has a feature for talking but it never worked. So, the whole conversation had to be written. I guess this is okay for a generation whose fingers and hands got extended into cell phones, but definitely NOT for everyone else who prefers talking. Your hefty payment (either monthly or yearly) doesn't cover a lot of features, like outfits. You have to pay additional hefty fees. You can set conversation topics, but her comments are like copied from any reference source and pasted in the chat.

Update 4: does the AI learn to remember your name or other things? The cost is very expensive and the demo version has some serious issues with memory or general conversation that last more then 2 Lines. I really do hope the chat function improves. Based on the demo version it does not make me feel like the cost is worth it. It may be good to offer lower monthly to encourage people to try or maybe a 7 day full version trial. If you have a support I can send screenshots of the bad chats.
