About this app

AIDO TV is a media player for Smart TV. It works like a general-purpose player, in the spirit of VLC: it includes and provides no content, channels, playlists or links. You add your own playlist — an M3U file or Xtream Codes credentials you already hold from your own provider.

The app ships empty and does nothing until you add your own source. It does not host, index, aggregate or recommend content, and it links to no website, download or torrent. You are responsible for the legality of the playlists you add; the app reminds you with a Content Notice on first launch.

What’s new

Fixed the second window: leaving the player kept its connection to your provider open and kept playing sound, which could freeze the channel you were watching when you came back.

We now also warn you if a list has already had trouble playing two channels at once, before you pick it.

Also: a new icon and banner on your TV home screen, a smoother purchase screen, and your playlist credentials are no longer written to the device logs.
