does the basic job. The weather sensing option is rather questionable. Even with the app showing the whole day sun, heavy rain is often "detected". turned it off. firmware on one unit stalled to an older version. if you don't have true 5/8 plumbing, overall reach of the sprinkler is limited.

Disconnects after update. I recently bought a scuba v3 and a surfer s2 . I had them both set up with the app and everything was okay. and just now when I opened the app it asked me to log in and then said my email address wasn't registered. so I had to start all over again, but when it tried to connect I kept getting a message that the device failed to be registered and asked if I wanted to retry. so I retried over and over. after I discovered how to reset to factory settings it worked.

App won't launch. Starts to launch, fails, error message comes up, then it automatically restarts, and nothing happens. Relaunching the app doesn't solve the issue. It also requests your email and PW twice, once for the app, and another time for the registration. Tried restarting my phone to see if it helps, and it didn't. Phone just had the latest Android update last night. Something is broken.
