About this app

Blown Flash puts a real signal-processing chain in your pocket. Not a stack of
overlays — an actual composite-video pipeline, a film grain model, and 179
GPU compute shaders that run on your phone's graphics hardware.

EVERYTHING RUNS ON YOUR DEVICE
No upload. No cloud render. No account. Your photos and videos never leave your
phone — the whole engine is native Vulkan compute, which is why a full-size
render finishes in milliseconds instead of a progress bar.

97 PRESETS ACROSS 24 FAMILIES
Film stocks, VHS generations, early digicams, broadcast artefacts, and the
specific wrongness of a 2007 cameraphone. Each preset is an ordered chain of
passes, not a single lookup table, so the character holds up when you push it.

Every effect exposes its real parameters. Drag a slider and the GPU re-renders
live — no "apply" step, no waiting to see what you did.

LAYER THEM IN ANY ORDER
The edit is a chain you control. Order matters — a blur before a sharpen is not
the same image as the reverse — so you reorder passes by hand rather than
accepting a fixed pipeline. Favourite the effects you reach for and they move to
the front.

VIDEO, NOT JUST STILLS
Run the same chain over a whole video. Audio is remuxed rather than
re-encoded, so it comes out exactly as it went in.

BUILT FOR THE PIXELS, NOT THE PREVIEW
The chain runs in 16-bit floating point, not 8-bit. Composite-video passes carry
signed chroma and overshoot past white; an 8-bit intermediate clips both and the
hue quietly collapses. You would never trace that back to a pixel format, so we
did not ship it.

Everything above is free to use. Free exports carry a small corner watermark.

Premium removes the watermark, unlocks full-quality video export, and includes
premium presets. It is a subscription, billed through Google Play, cancellable
any time, and it renews until you cancel.
