The general marketing campaign notifications are unwanted and relentless and there's no way to turn them off! Dick move! The setting for notifications only turns off the alerts about specific fights, which are the only one I actually want and the entire point of having the app for me. I sent an email to the company about this problem a couple of months ago and no response

Can't stop unwanted notifications. rude and invasive, outweighs any potential value. And, good grief, a complaint with air nz remains unanswered for over a month. only option was to uninstall. This isn't new, a related complaint two years ago was answered by air nz IT .. but it was blamed on a compatibility issue with my phone model. seems that was bul***it.😡

The latest version of the app does not let you sign in and thus makes it unable to set a watchlist for alerts. The error code is 500, "Something went wrong on our end". This has been consistent for a while now and reinstalling the app doesn't help.
