The radio station of the Yekaterinburg diocese “Resurrection” was created with the blessing of Archbishop Vincent of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye and was first broadcast on July 7, 2003, on the day of the Holy Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John.
The radio station broadcasts daily news of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Yekaterinburg Metropolis, lives of saints and church holidays, spiritual and folk chants, classics and good pop music, sermons of clergy and conversations with interesting people, poetry and art readings, lessons of the Law of God and Gospel conversations, evening fairy tales for children and quizzes, programs about family problems and raising children, programs about health and gardening, programs for prisoners and those on the move, programs for military personnel and housewives, answers to questions and live dialogue on air.
The diocesan radio station operates on FM and VHF frequencies in 44 cities and villages of the region with its suburbs and surrounding areas.
Radio “Resurrection” can also be listened to by all subscribers of the satellite packages “NTV+”, “Tricolor-TV”, as well as other owners of satellite dishes tuned to “Express-AMU1” position 36° E. The radio channel is broadcast for them in the open access and does not require a subscription fee.
In total there are more than 50 regular programs on air.
