About this app

Awêh is a personal safety system that enables you to alert your loved ones & the community when you are in danger. This solution was born in 2018 due to the rise of Sexual & Gender-Based Violence (SGBV). This App is proudly South African, built locally by the Aizatron group.

You can connect the Awêh Panic Button to your smart phone by using Bluetooth connectivity.

Signal for help by either using The Awêh Panic Button, when connected to the App or directly from the Awêh Panic Button App alone. When you raise an alert, the Guardians in your vicinity will be notified of your call for help and can navigate to your location. The Awêh Panic Button App also has a Guardian feature so that every person who registers as user becomes a Guardian and can respond to an alert.

This app does not track your location unless you signal for help. We also do not save any location history & do not share user information or location unless a Guardian accepts a request.

Sign up, create your profile on the Awêh Panic Button App & link (via Bluetooth) the Awêh Panic Button to your smart phone. If you already have an existing panic button, you can also link it to this app.
