The mAjdovščina mobile application represents a digital solution for upgrading the paperless business process, which enables the Municipality of Ajdovščina to better contact and communicate with the citizens of the municipality of Ajdovščina through one-way communication. The application increases the transparency of the operation of the Municipality, and based on two-way communication, the possibility of using the application helps to increase active participation in the local environment.

The digital solution represents a comprehensive and effective answer to various problems in the local environment, such as poorer information among citizens about local events and activities in the local community, poorer communication in the event of natural and other disasters, and declining participation in

MAjdovščina enables the processing of claims/applications in e-form. The purpose of the implementation of the paperless business process and the operation of the mobile application is to ensure the implementation of services provided by the municipality in an exclusively electronic form or in a hybrid form (partly in electronic form and partly in physical form), where a complete paperless process is not feasible or not optimal.

The use of digital identity and identification and authentication of the citizen with the help of SI-PASS services are enabled for the functionality of the application.

mAjdovščina has been adapted and developed in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications and is therefore accessible to a wider range of users.

The mobile application allows users to use the following modules:

No digital identity (notices and general information, current events, for visitors):
- Notifications (priority notification): about natural and other disasters, about network disruptions, about other urgent events...
- Publication of news: about the work of the municipal administration and the municipal council, about new tenders and competitions, jobs, about everything happening in the municipality, about anniversaries, celebrations, other festivities...
- Announcement of announced events: announcement of future events in the municipality of Ajdovščina;
- Deregistration of snacks and lunches: deregistration or registration of a child's meal in primary or secondary school and announcement of the child's absence in kindergartens,
- Reporting of problems and defects: communication between the citizen and the Communal Housing Company Ajdovščina regarding reports of irregularities and errors in the field of public lighting, water supply and sewerage network, municipal waste and ecological islands, municipal roads in the municipality;
- Roadblocks and speedometers: locations of active roadblocks and speedometer locations


With a digital identity (enables user verification and access and use of functionality based on an individual's identity):
My initiative - participatory budgeting: submission of citizens' initiatives, ideas, proposals and then voting on selected initiatives, deciding on initiatives proposed by citizens through the municipality's participatory budgeting project;
E-applications for administrative procedures: the system will enable contact with citizens with e-applications, online payment of fees;
