About this app

Libry is an ebook reader for EPUB and PDF with a built-in reading habit tracker: you read, and your reading log fills itself in, with no pages to type. Streaks, goals and reading stats, with no ads and no account. It works offline.

The essentials are free. Libry Plus is optional, a one-time purchase with no subscription.

A COMFORTABLE EPUB READER FOR ANDROID
• Open your EPUB and PDF books and read page by page or scrolling, offline.
• Six page colors (light, sepia, cream, gray, dark and black), in-app brightness and night mode.
• Adjustable text size, line spacing, margins and fonts, including a dyslexia-friendly font.
• Table of contents, bookmarks and the time left in the chapter.
• Tap an edge to turn the page; the interface hides so you only see the book.

TEXT TO SPEECH FOR EPUB BOOKS
• Listen to your EPUB books read aloud with text to speech, using your phone's voice, free and from the page you're on, with speed control and a sleep timer.
• Reading aloud works with EPUB, not with PDF.
• With Libry Plus, natural offline voices in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

AUTOMATIC READING TRACKER AND GOALS
• Libry is a reading tracker that logs your pages and minutes while you read: no timer, nothing to type.
• Reading streaks with your record, the last 7 days and a heads-up before you lose one.
• Books read tracker: every finished book and every reread counts toward your yearly goal.
• Daily minutes and yearly book goals, with a reminder to read.
• A reading progress tracker for every book. Rate and review the ones you finish.

PAPER BOOKS IN THE SAME READING LOG
• Add your paper books to the same book tracker: search for them, scan the barcode or type them in, and log the page you're on.
• They count toward your streak, goals and stats just like your EPUB and PDF books.

HIGHLIGHTS AND NOTES
• Highlight or underline passages in five colors and add a note to each highlight.
• Page notes: write down your thoughts while you read, no highlight needed. Leave several notes on the same page.
• Find all your notes and highlights together, searchable and filterable by book. It becomes your reading journal.
• Look up a word in the dictionary with one tap (it opens in your browser).
• Export your notes as Markdown and keep them anywhere.

ORGANIZE YOUR LIBRARY
• Collections, "Want to read" (your TBR) and "Abandoned" shelves, search by title or author and the sort order you like.
• Open books from other apps with "Open with Libry".
• Two reading tracker widgets for your home screen: "Reading now", tinted with your book's colors, with your progress and today's goal, and "Your week", with your streak.

LIBRY PLUS (OPTIONAL, ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION)
Reading, highlighting, notes, streaks, goals, listening with your phone's voice, your library and the widgets are free, always. With a single payment, no subscription, Libry Plus adds:
