The ROSATOM Floating Nuclear Power Plant (FNPP) is a new energy source created on the basis of Russian nuclear-powered shipbuilding technologies aimed at provision of stable and secure energy supply to industry, infrastructure and resident sector in remote areas.
This AUGMENTED REALITY model presents “Akademik Lomonosov”, a pilot design of FNPP equipped with two small sized KLT-40S reactors, which is now being constructed in Russia by Baltiysky zavod JSC (Baltic Shipyard). The project client and owner is Concern Rosenergoatom JSC (a utility company of ROSATOM Corporation). Designer, manufacturer, and complete supplier of KLT-40S reactors is Afrikantov OKBM JSC.
