This is the paid , Ads Free Version of Vector CTRL, a control app for Anki Vector which also lets you use it as a moving security camera.

It currently lets you control Vector;
- live Camera feed display from Vector
- say whatever you write on the text field
(in 2 different voice)
- move forward, backward
- turn left , turn right
- set speed for move
- move head up/down
- move lift up/down
- adjust move speed
- set Vector’s eye color , picking from a nice color picker
- see battery level and voltage of Vector
- take photo and save to phone memory
- record video file to phone memory
- gamepad support
- change eye color
- portrait & landscape support
- read text from any surface and say it aloud

*** WIRE POD SUPPORT ***
Starting with release 14.0 , our app supports Wire Pod connected Vector robots.

Please clean data of your app when changing between wirepod/DDL
Click "Wirepod" checkbox in the settings. When it is selected, pod IP field will be visible. It will try to find pod IP using the "escapepod" local name. If that fails, you can try re-enabling the wirepod checkbox. You can also manually enter Wire Pod IP address.
Fill in any other required inputs and click "set" and move on to the connect page.

I bought this pro version last night and just posting here to say that it doesnt work. The OK button is green but whenever I press "Connect and Play" it always displays "Please at least complete first Settings Profile". But on my old phone the AD Version works even with my DDL account. The ip address and network entered on both phones is the same. But new phones dont connect with PRO version.

Giving it stars because when it does work, its really cool! But it's extremely glitchy. It often doesn't let me press any buttons, freezes up or crashes. I thought getting the ad free version would help it's glitchyness but it didn't :(

Brilliant! Get so much more out of the little guy. He is now a roving camera for me!! Reduced to three stars as still not implemented landscape camera view in the App for my Z-fold 2 or any other device for that matter!

Added Wire Pod Support

Please clean storage (data) of the app if you are going to change from DDL to Wire Pod
Then click "Wirepod" checkbox in the settings screen. When it is selected, pod IP field will be visible. It will try to find pod IP using the "escapepod" local name. If that does not work fast, you can try disabling and re-enabling the wirepod checkbox, or manually enter IP.
Fill in any other required inputs and click "set" and move on to the connect page.
