Aku is a digital banking platform that allows customers and traders to transact seamlessly and grow wealth through savings and access to credit. The Aku app provides access to financial services at the base of the pyramid, converting every mobile phone to a PoS terminal.

Aku simplifies transactions such as sending and receiving money, buying airtime, and paying for goods and services throughout Nigeria.

With the Aku app, you can:
• Deposit money (cash-in)
• Withdraw money (cash-out)
• Send money
• Buy prepaid airtime and data bundles for any active TelCo customer
• Pay bills
• Pay merchants for goods and services

Ratings and reviews

This app used to be efficient when they started operation until lately, you cannot perform a single transaction on the app, you cannot receive money into the account either. The worse part is even their customer service; very unresponsive and unreliable. I know how many times I have personally made complaint via your contact persons on WhatsApp, yet no positive change. If I could give you guys 0 star, I honestly would. That's how disappointing and annoying your services are right now

This bank is fake and fraudulent, it should be taken down and their licence seized it's been from one problem to another, I sent a huge sum of money there, I'm unable to send out, it keeps bouncing back for days and I kept trying till they deactivated my account, after trying several stuffs for weeks, they reactivated my account, now I'm unable to login because of server error prompt which has been there for over a week now, I'm neither able to access my money nor make transfers. someone help oo

I would've given it 5 stars but... The app is fast, snappy and responsive but I'm using Kuda. Aku doesn't have a virtual card yet but atleast make people want to switch by adding "Free Transfers" Atleast like 15 or something just like kuda has and then add charges when the user has used up their free transfers for the month. As a student, constant -N10 will eventually come to haunt us. This is what I think you guys should develop, "Limited No. Of Free Transfers" and "Virtual Visa Card"
