Works well insofar as if someone rings my bell I get the call, I can view the camera at any time & can buzz people in. Advanced features like facial recognition, nfc, Bluetooth, etc don't work but that may be due to the model of my intercom or admin settings. I've been using it for over two year without any technical issues on the apps side. The app is also regularly updated. (photos taken when someone is buzzed in are significantly clearer than capturing an image, idk why)

The app has a potential, but it's unreliable. Many times it asks me to log in, even if there is no reason for it. Sometimes I can't make calls, call someone, receive calls, etc. The app fails at these tasks at random, even if it worked fine a moment ago. It's kind of annoying when someone is at your door, you see that person on your screen but you can't receive a call because of some random error.

The app allows anyone, family members, coworkers, tenants etc, associated with the app to smoothly and reliably monitor your door bell. Along with the capability to speak to delivery persons, customers or friends from your phone through to the doorbell. The current update pushes the app further by enhancing the visual aspect that just adds to the overall feel and functionality of the app. Unlocking your door via Qr-code or just using your phone as a keyfob is great. Don't take my word for it.
