Alarm++ is built around one idea: what wakes you shouldn't be the same thing every morning, because your brain learns to sleep through anything it hears often enough.

WAKE UP TO A VIDEO
Pick a clip from your own library and it plays full-screen behind the time when your alarm goes off — the screen turns to match the clip, portrait for something shot upright, landscape for anything filmed sideways. The clip's own soundtrack is the alarm. Waking up to a video only counts if it always wakes you, so every video alarm carries a backup tone: if the file's missing, won't decode, or freezes mid-alarm, the tone rings anyway.

SHUFFLE PLAYLISTS (Premium)
Build one list out of the built-in tones, your own songs, and your own video clips, in any order — or let it draw at random. One entry wakes you each morning, and the next is already queued for tomorrow, whether or not the app stayed open in between.

ALARMS THAT FIT THE DAY
Set a time, a label, and a schedule: once, weekly with Every day / Weekdays / Weekends shortcuts, or specific calendar dates — the mornings of a trip, or the days of Christmas. Give any alarm days off that it skips and then quietly resumes after. Snooze for any length from 1 to 120 minutes. Pick a sound by tapping it in the picker and hearing it at ring volume, rather than guessing from a name. The alarm list shows a live "next alarm" header with a running countdown.

WORLD CLOCK, AND ALARMS ANCHORED TO A CITY
Pin any of roughly 440 cities and see each one's own time, how far ahead or behind it runs, and whether it's a different calendar day. Set an alarm for 7:00 in Rome and it rings when Rome hits 7:00, wherever you are — with daylight saving handled properly on both ends.

TIMER AND STOPWATCH
A timer with hour/minute/second wheels, quick presets, a depleting progress ring, and a full-screen alert when it finishes. A stopwatch with lap splits, fastest and slowest highlighted. Both keep running if you leave the tab or close the app.

BUILT WITH CARE
• A real landscape layout on every screen — alarms go two to a row, a ringing alarm puts the clock on one side and the buttons on the other.
• Light, dark, or follow the device, with the clock face set separately for the Clock tab and for a ringing alarm.
• Picking a wake-up video needs no media permissions — you hand over one file through the system picker, not your whole library.
• The ring screen shows over the lock screen without unlocking it, so dismissing an alarm at 6:45 hands your phone back locked.

WHAT'S FREE
Alarms, video alarms, custom sounds, the world clock, the timer, and the stopwatch. All of it, free — no trial, no limit.

WHAT'S PREMIUM
Shuffle playlists, and no ads. That's the whole list. Monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime option — pick whichever makes sense for you, in-app.

PERMISSIONS
Alarm++ asks once, when you set it up for the first time.
• Required: Notifications, and permission to display over other apps. Without these, a ringing alarm can't show up on your screen.
• Optional: Unrestricted battery use, and Do Not Disturb access. Skip either one if you'd rather.
Change any of them later in Settings, any time.
