Turn your Android phone, tablet, or Samsung DeX screen into a vintage Hi-Fi VU meter display.

Real VU Meter Overlay adds realistic audio meters over your Android screen, inspired by classic Hi-Fi equipment, analog needle meters, LED bars, and vintage power meters.

Start the floating bubble, open your favorite music or video app, then tap the bubble to launch a full-screen landscape VU meter.

Real VU Meter Pro unlocks all premium skins and removes ads.

Permissions:
Real VU Meter Overlay uses Android overlay permission to display the floating bubble and full-screen VU meter over other apps.

The app uses Android audio capture/microphone-related permission only to animate the VU meters in real time. Audio is processed locally on the device for visual meter movement. The app does not record, save, upload or share audio content.

Compatibility note:
Audio capture depends on Android system support and on whether the audio app allows capture. Some apps or browsers may restrict audio capture. For the best full-screen experience, gesture navigation is recommended.
