VastCurrent is a trust-first social platform built around a simple idea: you should know why something is in your feed.

Most social apps hide their ranking behind opaque "engagement signals." VastCurrent does the opposite. Every post comes with a visible reason label — "From someone you follow," "Broadly Trending," "Popular with people you trust" — so you always know how content reached you. No mystery. No manipulation. Just transparency.

The platform is anchored by the Trust Score Engine: a transparent scoring system that rewards authentic participation and reduces the reach of bot-like behavior. The signals are documented. There is no hidden weighting designed to keep you scrolling against your will.

SPEAK YOUR LANGUAGE

VastCurrent's interface is available in six languages out of the box: English, Haitian Creole, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Swahili. Change languages anytime in Settings. We built this from day one because authentic discourse shouldn't require a translation app.

PRIVACY & SAFETY

VastCurrent is built for adults (16+) and takes user safety seriously:

- Report any post or account with one tap, reviewed by a real moderation queue
- Block any user bidirectionally across every surface of the app
- Delete your account fully, from in-app settings, at any time
- All data encrypted in transit
- No advertising, no cross-app tracking, no third-party data sharing

We don't sell your data. We don't track you across other apps. We don't show ads. VastCurrent is funded by belief in the product, not by selling your attention.

VastCurrent is currently in open testing in Haiti, France, and Brazil. We're building the platform we want to use — the one we wish existed when we first opened a social app years ago.
